Navigation Series

As we navigate through our lives, we look to those things that anchor us; provide direction and assurance. In this series, I parallel personal guideposts with those of the navigational variety. From classic channel markers to the dual Ambrose towers and the forbidden zone of Earl, the varied marine guidance within the New York Harbor forms a language that mirror different aspects of our lives. Portraying these markers under different atmospheric conditions echoes the variety of life conditions. Relative calm enforces the regulative qualities of water; reflections and saturated colors deepen water's soulful connection.  (2022-Present)
